Mixing Terminology
- snap/boost: increase → drag the bell point upward
- e.g. around ~5-7kHz for a snare
- cut: drag bell point downward to reduce a frequency
- high-pass: cut lows → drag bell point downward
- e.g. high-pass a vocal at ~80Hz to remove rumble
- low-pass: cut highs
